How to get help with CapyBrian.
Contact us
Email bosscapybrian@gmail.com. Please include the email address of your account (never your password) and, if you can, what you were doing when the problem happened.
Common questions
- I forgot my password: on the Log in screen, choose Forgot password and follow the email.
- I bought Gold and it has not arrived: open Gold in the shop and choose Check my purchases. If it still does not appear, contact us with the date of the purchase.
- I want a refund: Apple handles refunds. Use Apple's "report a problem" or refund request page.
- I want to leave a group or delete my account: both are in Settings. See the Account Deletion page.
- I want to report a message or block someone: see the Community Rules.
Delete Your Account
How to delete your account and what happens when you do.
How
- Open CapyBrian, go to Settings, and choose Delete my account.
- Read what will happen to your Gold and your groups, choose to delete in 7 days or now, and type DELETE MY ACCOUNT to confirm. Email accounts also re-enter their password.
- If you chose 7 days, you can cancel in Settings at any time until then.
- If you cannot open the app, write to bosscapybrian@gmail.com from your account's email address and we will delete it for you.
What is removed
- Your account, email address and sign-in.
- Your name, reading interests and notification settings.
- Your care actions, Daily Read answers and Capy Clash history.
- Everything you wrote in group chat. A blank "message removed" placeholder stays so other people's conversation still makes sense.
What happens to Gold and groups
- Any Gold left is lost. It has no cash value and is not refunded automatically. Ask Apple if you want to request a refund for a purchase.
- You leave your groups and your name on them becomes "Former member". If you owned a group with other people in it, the person who has been in it longest becomes the owner. If you were the only person, the group is closed.
What is kept
- Records of Gold purchases and the Gold ledger, kept without your name for accounting and fraud prevention.
- A report about a message, if one was filed, is kept for safety.
- Apple and RevenueCat keep their own purchase records.
